Hurry hurry hurry, before I go insane.

I've been seriously negligent with this blog lately, and I hate it. Last week the hardwood floors in my apartment were replaced, and now my life is very distressed. But, I will be painting my bedroom shortly and putting some hard work into making my apartment livable. My theory is that once my home is in order the rest will fall in place. I have a lot to share, but I just need to get this apartment in order...stay tuned! xoxo-Kristal

Happy Thanksgiving!

Have a wonderful day tomorrow, wherever you are. I will be with family enjoying some tofurkey in San Diego. There's a lot for me to be thankful for this year.

How did I miss this?

Welcome to the dark side darling!

Roisin, Like a Dream.

Okay, so I am seriously sleep deprived but I had to share this. I love this woman, and it thrills me that my boyfriend has a huge crush on her. What can I say? He has good taste....

And now I love THEM.

Just what I wanted to hear right now.

Birds of a Feather

I usually don't go for the matching couples, but this is an exception. I love it. I cannot find the source for the life of me, so if you happen to know it let me know. This photo definitely deserves some credit.

Bogie and Bacall

I just recently read Lauren Bacall's autobiography "All By Myself," and it was fabulous. Very sad at times, but good. My favorite part was anything about her and Bogie, the love that they had transmitted through all sorts of mediums-print, film, and written word in the book's case. It was nice to read and heartbreaking at the same time. I suggest it highly.

Christmas List #1- Youth Dew

I am so excited by the original packaging on this fragrance classic. I love a good strong perfume, 1950's style and this one is one of the best. Wouldn't it be lovely to have this on your dresser in that adorable blue bottle? I'm hoping my this ends up under the tree with my name on it.

Hello Again

It's been awhile, but I haven't jumped ship just yet. Lots of things happening on the home front-but this blog is always on my mind. I don't know if I have any regular readers, but I get a lot of fun out of doing this. It's nice to have a place for my obsessions. Recently all my magazines have come at once and now I'm feeling the holidays on my tail. Naturally this means party dresses, the best part of the holiday shuffle. Stay tuned for what I uncover....

Marilyn

I don't think I will ever get sick of this face.

Classic Beauty

These lovely ladies (courtesy of the sartorialist) are proving a belief of mine, that nothing is better than a plain white tee shirt. I love the girl on top with her red lips, and the girl below with her rolled sleeves and dress on top.

New Dress

I actually get to wear this sucker to work. I am a lucky lucky girl. The coolest detail is missing from the picture though, an exposed zipper. On a straighter body this wears like a shift, but on a breasts-waist-hips body it is very fitted. I didn't want to say Mad Men, but it is sooo Joan Holloway.

Bloody Crochet

Isn't this the coolest? I wish I had the skills to make my own. But it's okay, because I love Etsy and both of these pieces are very reasonably priced ($10 for the vampire bites and $15 for the slit throat). Great gift ideas if you ask me. Oh, and if you have skills to make this, send one my way! The link to the Etsy shop is below.
