I Got Stripes.

Every time I put on stripes I sing the Johnny Cash song, "I Got Stripes." I don't know why, but it just feels good. You should try it too. Ps. The lipstick I'm wearing is a Revlon original 1950s color that is still being made-Cherries in the Snow. My grandma still wears it, and so what better endorsement do you need really? Even better, they make a matching nail polish. Go crazy cuz its a bargain!

As a sucker for packaging, I love Besame Cosmetics. It's nice to see makeup not encased in plastic. Inspired by the glamorous makeup of the past,the makeup is a sight for sore eyes. On top of the aesthetic,the ingredients are mainly natural according to the company website:

Orange Crush

I'm going through a major love affair with orange lipstick right now. I keep hearing how difficult it is to pull off, but I'm not buying it.It's just like red lipstick,you just need to find the correct shade for your skin tone. I'm quite pale, so it a coral works on me. And it's a fun shade for summer. If you have a bit of a tan I'd suggest a little bit of gloss or frost with it like the picture up top. Don't be scared of makeup! This is a fun color! Orange nail polish is great too. Maybe it's the fact that my dining room wall is orange and I've gotten very used to the brightness, either way...I like it!
