A Nice Weekend

So, after one too many flirtinis on Saturday night I had the hangover from hell. But with a little extra sleep and some Guava Leaves tea, I was back in business. Chinatown on Sunday for the New Year, and today I was lucky enough to check three things off my LA to-do list:Grand Central Market, Central Library (where I renewed my card), And the Bradbury Building. What a rare and beautiful gem. I think I'm in love. We also made it to Clifton's Cafe and I'm really kicking myself for not taking a single picture. I was just so enamored with my macaroni and cheese, oh well, guess I'll have to go back. Very very soon. I love this city, if you want to you can have a different adventure everyday.

Keeping cool in Hollywood

Now that i've moved to Hollywood I walk anywhere I can, which is a huge blessing during the summer of crazy gas prices. However, to keep cool you've gotta have some shade. I got this great silk chinese parasol from Wing Hop Fung in L.A.'s Chinatown for less than $6.00, which along with a folding fan have kept me cool during this hot month. If you can't get to Chinatown you can always order online at www.asiachi.com. At that price you can afford to get a few different colors.
