Maybe if I save my pennies and some of my tax refund I can have a pretty top or dress from this collection.It's just so perfect, so fresh scrubbed 1970's American(Brooke Shields) and yet a little naughty French girl too(Brigitte Bardot or perhaps Catherine Deneuve?)....

I've been reading a book by Anita Loos called "Fate Keeps on Happening." And it's just brilliant, filled with advice and stories from Hollywood's golden era, Loos tells it like it is and how it was. The whole time I'm reading it, I keep trying to visualize her face. So when I finally googled her I was dumbstruck-this lady was a stylish knockout and completely timeless. Think about it, colorize these photos and you have someone from The Sartorialist. Check out this book if you have the chance...it's the bees knees! (Sorry I couldn't resist)
